We’re here to change
the world.
About Us
In today’s society, countless young girls face neglect and marginalization due to poverty, orphanhood, disability or lack of access to quality education. These challenges are not exclusive to girls alone but affect both genders, trapping many in cycles of illiteracy, poverty, and vulnerability. As a result, many youth especially girls are thrust into undesirable life situations, including early and unwanted pregnancies, societal delinquency, mental health struggles and a general inability to meet societal expectations and opportunities.
The Simon-Sabina Ekem Hope Initiative ( SEHI ) was birthed out of a deep desire to change this narrative. We are a non-profit organization committed to transforming lives by equipping the underprivileged, especially girls and young women with the tools they need to thrive through education, empowerment, and inclusive support systems.
